Travel Vaccinations

We are able to offer immunisation and advice for Hepatitis A and Typhoid ONLY.  Patients are advised to contact their local Travel Clinic for advice on vaccinations required for the area of the world being visited. If Hepatitis A and Typhoid is recommended, we are happy to provide these for you.  We are also able to provide you with a list of previous vaccinations on request. Please ask our reception team for this information.

The practice nurse will only be able to advise on anti-malarials. Certain types of anti-malarials are available only on a private prescription for which there is a charge of £10 plus the cost of the tablets however the practice would usually recommend travellers attend their local Travel Clinic for this service.

Travel Vaccinations provided by the Travel Clinic are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge.  This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
