Family planning services are provided by doctors and practice nurses. Emergency contraception is available and we encourage you to discuss this promptly with our triage doctor.
The midwife provides care to mums (& dads!) during pregnancy and immediately after birth. As well at seeing mums at home, the midwife holds a baby clinic at East Barnwell Health Centre on Tuesdays from 9.30 - 13:00 and 14:00- 16:30 (by appointment only made through the Sky Team) and The Fields Children’s Centre, Galfrid Road, Cambridge CB5 8ND

Available by appointment after referral by your doctor. The NHS Counselling service offers brief counselling. There is usually a waiting list.
Smoking Cessation Clinic by appointment only, every Thursday from 2.00 - 5.40 pm.
At this clinic you will have the chance to speak to a specialist about nicotine replacement therapy, Zyban and Champix. You will also have the chance to have a carbon monoxide reading taken to monitor your smoking status. Please see reception for an appointment at East Barnwell Health Centre or phone 0800 018 4304 for an alternative clinic.
If you need to see a physiotherapist you can either contact the Physio Direct Advice Line on 0300 555 0210 for information (this is a free service) or make an appointment with your doctor who will refer you.
